Another successful Delia Derbyshire Day 2017 at Band on the Wall, MCR in the bag, it is now time for us to get on the road again and take our DD Day roadshow beyond Manchester.
We were at Blue Dot festival on SAT 8 JULY and will be at Festival No.6 (7-10 Sept). We will hold a special Full of Noises event in Barrow-in-Furness on SAT 5 AUGUST. The event at Barrow will also include workshops for 8-16 year olds – see Full of Noises site for more info.
I will be compering the events and playing my “Audient, My Dear” creative response to the fascinating archive of Delia Derbyshire, the gifted electronic music pioneer behind that iconic piece of electronic music, the original Dr Who theme.
